It was very good and efficient and delivery was fast. Asking for a review from a uk customer in German is probably not what you want to do. It’s pretty obvious and I read a little German so have no issue but some might.

After 3 years of use I can fully give a complete honest review. I have 15 radiators with a smart thermostat, the bridge a connector. Not bad but not overwhelming. I would like to try an alternative to be able to compare functionality. Overall, worth trying, just ensure you have enough wi-if coverage if you have a large house or add APs.

Mulit months frustrating connectivity issue with no solution
i have been working since many, many months with tado to trouble shoot a connectivity issue.
i bought a mulit unit installation in March 2022. it was plagued with connectivity issues for several months. eventeally the support team suggested in August to replace a receiver. this made the issue worse as the receiver now intermittently disconnects rendering the whole system dead. i pointed this out to the team in October. they are insisting on switching thermostats (as some still intermittently disconnect) but it doesn't fix my most serious problem when the system goes down completely with the receiver.
Repeated attempts to convince them to replace the receiver have been faced with insistence on their process.
The whole experience leaves me extremely frustrated. I don't know whether to return the whole system or to buy the wireless receiver.
in addition tado's feedback website shows many, many comments with connectivity issues since many years. this seems to be an issue but the company doesn't see the need to find a solution (how about having the ability to have two internet bridges)?
i will update my experience but at this point I am very unhappy.

Good idea, poor execution
The concept behind Tado is great, but the execution is really poor, for a couple of reasons:
- Low range of wireless devices, particularly the Internet Bridge which has a very small antenna. I've had the wireless receiver disconnect twice, once waking up to a cold house. It does not even attempt to reconnect, you have to power cycle it.
- Lack of mesh networking or wireless extender. It's 2023, there's Zigbee and other mesh implementations, yet with Tado you're limited to the range of the Internet Bridge. Which is not good enough for a small house.
- All control comes via the cloud. There's no offline backup of schedules on the devices, so if you're losing Internet, good luck.

I would strongly recommend looking for other options.

out of the box easy to set up. connection to my boiler slightly harder than expected but sorted with a bit of commonsense on my part. easily set up and now works all the time without any resetting required

Poor delivery and no obvious customer service
UPS delivery package could not be found at the drop off point - the name of the person who signed for it doesn't work there. UPS driver didn't bother to even try knocking at my door, still classed it as 'you were away'.

UPS said speak to tado. tado's contact email address for 'Haven't received your package yet? Let us know' is 'noreply@tado....' so how am I supposed to fix this? Why am I the one sorting this? tado have removed all their contact centres so I can't speak to anyone.

Easy to use and set up
This is a. Dry easy product to install, set and use.it is aesthetically pleasing and blends into the background. The app is simple to use and the geofencing works well. When connecting up the system it can take a couple of tries th connect wirelessly but that is down to the location of equipment. The only downside is that the stand for the thermostat is a separate buy where for the price I feel it should be provided but I purchased a stand for £4 off an auction site.

I am really pleased with Tado
I am really pleased with how I've been able to set up the system in my house. Tado was on hand and helped when I needed it. I can now control the heat in each room and set what time of day it is needed. Perhaps the best saving feature is that Tado reduces the heat when I leave the house and then warms up the house in time for my return.

Order canceled, money withdrawn
Made an order. Payed for it, money withdrawn, but order was canceled due to an error. Stayed 20 days with money blocked.
Also, their 3DS payment has issues and does not work.

Update: I contacted Tado support and they confirmed that they have not withdrawn the money, that's why the amount was reverted after 20 days from my bank. This is how banks work. I authorize a payment and the seller can withdraw the amount based on this. If the seller does not finish the transaction, the amount remains blocked until the threshold period expires and the transaction is reverted.
After the 20 days i made another order and payed via Google Pay, which was successful. Currently ( 06 Feb) i am not in possession of my order.

Tado Easy to install, setup and control
Easy to install no specialist requirements, does hot water as well as central heating.
Can work as a standalone or like me connected to the internet. App works great on IPhones. Works on most heating systems including my oil fire central heating boiler . Allows me to set timers similar to older programmers and bonus allows me to either boost, cool or raise temperatures for comfort factors. It gives me outside temperatures to make allowances plus heat and humidity inside which I can adjust to ensure I’m heating dry air not wet air for maximum comfort and saving.

Tado System Success
I have fitted 10 thermostatic valve heads to my radiators and have wired thermostats for each of my heating zones. The system is working well and has reduced my gas consumption by more than 15%.

Installed the wireless boiler control…
Installed the wireless boiler control and TRVs throughout the house. Installation was easy the included TRV adaptors covered all our radiators.
Interface is easy to use and now we are only heating the bits of the house we use , when we use them.
